FAQ

2012 One Love Gospel Cruise FAQs

    1.    What is the deposit amount required at time of booking?
    a.    $250 deposit for each guest booking in an Inside, Oceanview or Balcony stateroom is required at the time of booking (Categories MA – IX).  $500 deposit for each guest booking in a Suite and above stateroom is required at the time of booking (Categories S1 – SJ).  This is a non-refundable deposit.

    2.    What if I can’t deposit for all guests at the time of booking?
    a.    Request a cabin that holds the number of guests required.  Then we’ll take the names of those guests that will be depositing.  You can then call us back prior to the 2nd payment being due to deposit and give us the names of the additional guests.  Please note, holding a cabin does not guarantee that we can add the additional guests.

    3.   What is the payment schedule?
    a.    $250 (non-refundable deposit) or $500 (non-refundable deposit) per guest is required at time of booking (amount varies by category).  Your second payment is calculated by taking the total amount of your booking less the required deposit amount and dividing by 2.  This 2nd payment is due by 11/19/11.  Your final payment is due by 2/2/12.

    b.    Your confirmation will show you the amounts and their due dates, however, you can make installments as you wish.  You just need to make sure that the amounts due are covered based on the schedule.

    4.    What if I have to cancel?  What are the cancellation charges?
    a.    If you cancel your reservation anytime on or before 11/19/11, the charge is your $250 or $500 (non-refundable deposit) per person.
    b.    If you cancel on or between 11/20/11 and 2/2/12 the charge is 50% of the total cost of your trip.
    c.    If you cancel on or after 2/3/12, the charge is 100% of the total cost of your trip.

    5.    What if the category I want does not hold 3 or 4 guests?
    a.    Unfortunately, not all staterooms hold 3 or 4 guests.  We will do our best to accommodate you, but you will need to book a category that has cabins available that hold the number of guests you require or book additional cabins.

    6.    What is the rate if I wish to travel alone?
    a.    The rate for single guests is 200% of the per person cost.  For example, a category IB stateroom costs $1099 per person, but that is if 2 people are in the room, so a single will pay $2198.

    7.    What if I’m traveling alone, but would like to be paired up with someone?
    a.    Call us to reserve your stateroom.  You will be required to leave the $250  or $500 non-refundable deposit.  We will review the single share requests weekly and you will be contacted when we have a possible share for you.  We will put you in contact with each other and once the two parties confirm, the pairing will be completed.

    8.    What time should I make my arrival and departure flights?
    a.    Embarkation

    • i.    TPA flights should arrive between 9am and 1:00pm

    b.    Debarkation

    • i.    TPA flights should depart after 12:30pm

    9.   Will I have transportation from the Airport to the ship and back?
    a.    Ground Transportation is available for purchase on all reservations, it is NOT included in your cruise fare.  Transportation request will require guest’s independent air information to be given and be within the recommended flight arrival and departure times for your cruise.  Transportation may be pre-purchased until 3/13/12 for $10 per person each way.   To make arrangements, please contact 877-735-5625.  To arrange transportation on the Day of Sailing, you may check with an NCL rep in the baggage claim or customs area or page the NCL rep at the airport and will be based on availability.  The cost for the transportation on Day of Sailing is $18 per person.  Cost will be charged to the guests’ onboard account.

    10.   What about Travel Insurance?
    a.    Access America insurance is highly recommended.  Please contact
    Access America at 800.284.8300

    b.    Welcome Aboard Kit

    • i.    Welcome Aboard Kits can be mailed out 60 days prior to sailing, up to 2/24/12.  We need to have you complete the online registration no later than 30 days prior to sailing in order to make sure that the kit is produced/mailed and arrives at your home with plenty of time. It is very important that we have your correct address as this is the address that we use for mailing the kits.
    • ii.    No Welcome Aboard Kits will be processed after 2/24/12.

    a.    No, discounts and special offers can not be combined. Only (1) one discount per customer.

    13.   Do your discounts apply to 3rd – 8th passengers?
    a.    No, discounts apply to the 1st and 2nd passengers in a cabin. 3rd – 8th passenger pricing has already been discounted.

    14.    Do I need a passport?
    a.    For closed-loop sailings (cruises that depart from and return to the same U.S. port), you may sail with either a valid passport, proof of citizenship and a valid government-issued photo I.D. (driver’s license with a photo), or any other WHTI compliant document. Proof of Citizenship examples include: an original or state certified copy of a U.S. birth certificate, original certificate of U.S. naturalization, original certificate of U.S. citizenship, or a U.S. Consular report of your birth abroad. Baptismal paper and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable. A U.S. citizen under the age of 16 does not require a government-issued photo ID.

    b.    If you miss your ship at its scheduled U.S. departure port and need to travel outside the U.S. to meet your ship, or should you unexpectedly need to depart the ship from a foreign port prior to the end of sailing, a passport would be required to leave or re-enter the U.S. by air. To that end, We strongly recommends all guests to obtain a passport for their voyage on the One Love Gospel Cruise.
